David Beckham receives a six-month driving ban for using phone while driving – Source: BBC

As per BBC reports, David Beckham, the ex-England football star, has been prohibited from driving for six months after confessing to using his mobile phone while driving.

Beckham made an appearance at Bromley Magistrates’ Court in connection with an incident from last November. During this incident, Beckham was captured holding his phone while driving his Bentley in traffic that was moving slowly.

David Beckham’s lawyer, Gerrard Tyrrell, mentioned that the retired Manchester United player has no memory of the day in question or the particular occurrence in question.

Having previously pleaded guilty, Beckham has received six additional points on his driver’s license, making a total of twelve points due to a prior speeding violation, which has led to the imposition of a six-month driving ban.
