When it comes to winning, the Denver Nuggets are a force to be reckoned with, a fact they proved last season on their way to the NBA championship. The team is led by standout player Nikola Jokic, who plays as a center but also takes on the role of the starting point guard.

While Jokic dominates on the court, his brother made headlines for a different reason during a recent game.

A video went viral showing an incident during the Nuggets’ thrilling 101-99 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA playoffs. The Nuggets now lead the series 2-0 and have defeated the Lakers in their last 10 matchups, including last year’s Western Conference Finals.

The altercation involving Jokic’s brother was captured on camera at Ball Arena in Denver and quickly spread on social media.

According to the New York Post:

“Video footage captured Jokic’s brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, involved in a physical altercation with a presumed Lakers fan in the crowd after the Nuggets secured a 2-0 lead in the first-round series.

“TMZ Sports corroborated the incident with eyewitnesses present at Ball Arena.

“A TikTok video posted on Monday captured the brothers pushing through the crowd to confront a fan in a gray T-shirt, who was swiftly punched in the face by Jokic’s elder brother, Strahinja.”

The NBA is looking into the incident, as reported by FanBuzz sources. The cause of the altercation remains unclear, but one thing is certain—Jokic’s brother acted decisively.

When it comes to the Lakers and their supporters, it appears the Jokic brothers are not afraid to make a statement. It was Jamal Murray who delivered the game-winning shot against LA, leaving the Lakers reeling. Just like the fan in the stands.
