One of the only intense moments during the popular Tom Brady roast on Netflix involved comedian Jeff Ross discussing New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
Ross made a joke alluding to Kraft’s past scandal involving massage services in Florida, which was a sensitive topic at the time.
No topic was taboo during the Brady roast, including Kraft.
Ross joked, “Tom became a Patriot, moved up to New England, and on the first day of training camp, that scrawny rookie famously walked into the owner Robert Kraft’s office and said ‘I’m the best decision your organization has ever made,'” followed by a reference to a massage.

However, Ross explained on The Rich Eisen Show that Brady did not take issue with the joke.
Ross dismissed any notion of Brady being upset, stating, “He’s having fun. You know, it’s like that’s his dad. Robert Kraft is like a father figure to him, he was just showing his love for Robert Kraft.”
“He was so happy that I gave him a shoutout and a salute, it was beautiful,” Ross shared with Eisen.
Nonetheless, in the realm of social media, where everything is instantly shared and scrutinized, the narrative around the incident took a life of its own. Even if Brady were to clarify his stance on the joke, social media has already reached its conclusions.
Ultimately, it was all in good humor, as expected in a roast. Ross understands the dynamics and maneuvered the situation adeptly, much like Brady did on the football field.
