Taylor Swift’s dedicated fan base will go to great lengths to catch a glimpse of her, even if it involves the people she is involved with romantically.
Travis Kelce, a star player for the Kansas City Chiefs, had to make a significant personal decision due to his relationship with Taylor Swift becoming public knowledge, particularly when Swift attended a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.
During a recent episode of Shaquille O’Neal’s The Big Podcast With Shaq, Jason Kelce revealed the “drawbacks” of dating Swift, mentioning that Travis Kelce had to make the unexpected decision to move out of his newly acquired house in Kansas City due to relentless superfans tracking down his address, causing safety concerns for him.
“The first day he moved into the new house…a gated community, someone knocks on a window of the house,” Jason Kelce said.
He further added, “People were just staying by his house.”
Though the identities of these intruders were not disclosed, it’s important to note that such incidents didn’t occur before the public knowledge of the relationship with Swift.
In addition to the challenges posed by his relationship, Travis Kelce, who has been with the Philadelphia Eagles since being drafted in 2011, is contemplating the possibility of retiring from the NFL.
“Still figuring it out,” Kelce told O’Neal. “I think if I still want to play, I’m going to play. I think right now we’re not far enough away from the last game. It’s emotional, it’s a long season — the end of the season quite frankly, awful. So I’m just going to take some time, rest, recoup, and then figure it out.”
Despite these challenges, Travis Kelce recently celebrated a Super Bowl win, with Taylor Swift by his side cheering for him from various suites throughout the playoffs.
