John Stockton adamantly opposes vaccines and is vocal about it.

Earlier this year, the former NBA star was barred from attending Gonzaga University games for not following the indoor mask mandate of his alma mater.

During that time, Dave Zirin, sports editor at The Nation, revealed in a tweet that John Stockton falsely believed that 150 pro athletes had died due to the vaccine. Zirin discredited this claim as misinformation.

Recently, Stockton reiterated his anti-vaccine stance by claiming he has a long list of “hundreds” of vaccinated athletes who have allegedly died on the field post-vaccination.

Kyrie Irving, point guard for the Brooklyn Nets, and Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, are prominent figures who have opted not to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Stockton supports their decision to remain unvaccinated.

Stockton, a 10-time NBA All-Star, has impressive career stats averaging 13.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 10.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.

The NFL recently announced the suspension of all COVID-19 protocols for both vaccinated and unvaccinated players, whereas the NBA has not made such a decision at present.
