LeBron James has been open about his desire to play alongside his eldest son, Bronny James, before retiring from professional basketball. He mentioned in a recent interview that his final season in the NBA will likely involve sharing the court with Bronny.

It is speculated that Bronny Jr. may not be eligible for the NBA draft until 2024. At 37 years old, James would be 39 when the 2024-25 season starts. Despite his age, there could still be teams willing to take a chance on him at that point. The question then arises – would these teams also be interested in Bronny? Is LeBron’s son good enough to make it to the NBA?

NBA correspondent Brian Windhorst recently shared his insights on the Dan Patrick Show regarding Bronny’s potential future in the league. He also mentioned some noteworthy points about Bronny’s younger brother, Bryce James.

Windhorst highlighted that while Bronny is a skilled athlete with good conditioning, he is currently rated as a 4-star recruit. Although this rating suggests that he will attract attention from prominent college programs, it does not guarantee him a spot in the NBA.

During the discussion, Windhorst briefly mentioned that some sources have indicated that 14-year-old Bryce James might actually be the more promising prospect between the two brothers.

β€œThere are people who told me that Bryce actually might be the better prospect amongst the two.”

It is likely that comparisons between Bronny and Bryce will persist, not only in relation to their father but also to each other, as they strive to establish their own basketball careers.

Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, has stated that he would not use a second-round draft pick on Bronny James solely to potentially secure LeBron for his team. It remains to be seen if other team owners share the same sentiment.

In any case, it appears that Bronny will have to prove his worth on the court to earn the opportunity to play alongside his father in the NBA.
