Jemele Hill Responds to Aubrey Huff’s Criticism of LeBron James Carrying a Purse

Aubrey Huff seems to attract controversy wherever he goes.

The former Major League Baseball player caused a stir on social media recently when he expressed disapproval of men’s fashion trends in the modern era.

Huff, a two-time World Series winner with the San Francisco Giants, shared a picture of LeBron James dressed in a suit jacket and suit shorts while carrying a purse or men’s bag.

In his post, he commented: “Young men, this is not how a man should dress. Carrying a purse isn’t cool. I guess dressing like this makes it easier to kneel.”

One of the many critics who spoke out against his remarks was former ESPN host Jemele Hill and Colin Kaepernick’s mother.

Just last month, he went on a tirade about California Governor Gavin Newsom’s decision to impose lockdown restrictions again due to a rise in COVID-19 cases.

“I’d rather take my chances with the coronavirus – remember, it has a 99.8 percent survival rate – than end up on the street unable to provide for my family.”

Huff also labeled masks as “mind-control devices” and criticized those who wear them as “sheep.”

“[@GavinNewsom] shut California down again,” Huff tweeted. “It’s time to remove the mind control devices & fight for your family, your business, & your freedom!”
