Caitlyn Jenner, a well-known figure in the transgender community and a former American track star, had strong words for O.J. Simpson following news of his passing, as confirmed by his family.

In a post on social media, Jenner expressed, “Good riddance #OJSimpson.”

Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, has persistently criticized Simpson over the years, asserting that he was responsible for the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. Simpson was acquitted of these charges in the famed “The Trial of the Century” in 1995.

During that time, Jenner had ties to Simpson through her marriage to Kris Jenner, who was close to Nicole and whose ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, was part of Simpson’s defense team.

In her 2017 memoir, titled The Secrets of My Life, Jenner referred to Simpson as “the most narcissistic, egocentric, neediest a- in the world of sports I had ever seen,” as reported by the Washington Post. She believed that he had successfully escaped justice for two brutal murders.

Simpson, aged 76, passed away due to complications from prostate cancer, as announced by his family.

Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman were tragically found stabbed to death outside Simpson’s residence in Brentwood, California. Following these murders, a high-profile police chase involving Simpson in a White Ford Bronco was broadcasted by major news networks, even interrupting NBC’s coverage of the NBA Finals.

“Following a civil trial, Simpson was ordered to pay the families of Brown and Goldman more than $33 million for wrongful death and battery.

“In the aftermath, Jenner claimed that Robert Kardashian essentially admitted he believed Simpson was guilty of the murders.

“She recounted a 2017 interview with Andy Cohen where Kardashian allegedly stated, ‘I would have been OK if they got him in the first trial,’ as per the Washington Post.”
