Former ESPN and Fox Sports figure, Jason Whitlock, now enjoys speaking more openly without the constraints of corporate ties.

He has been critical of athletes like LeBron James and Colin Kaepernick, suggesting that they, along with other sports stars, are significantly impacted by China.

Whitlock, in a discussion on ‘The Truth with Lisa Boothe,’ criticized athletes for promoting what he called “anti-American sentiments.” He specifically mentioned LeBron James, Serena Williams, and Colin Kaepernick.

Whitlock pointed out the powerful influence of companies like Nike in the sports world due to their lucrative dealings with China. He believes that athletes like LeBron James, Colin Kaepernick, and Serena Williams adopt anti-American stances to strengthen their relations with China.

LeBron James faced backlash in 2019 for comments on a tweet by then-Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey supporting Hong Kong protesters. James suggested Morey was misinformed and emphasized the potential negative consequences of speaking out.

Regarding Colin Kaepernick, Whitlock highlighted his exclusion from the NFL after kneeling during the National Anthem in protest of police treatment of minorities.

Whitlock also criticized how China has convinced a significant portion of the population that racism in America is worse than in China. He questioned why people overlook the treatment of black individuals in China.
