Glen Davis is facing backlash for his recent comments about Klay Thompson.
Klay Thompson gained widespread attention for his blunt criticism of Rodney McGruder following a recent game played by the Warriors.
After hearing Thompson’s remarks, former NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis took to Instagram where he controversially implied that Thompson’s recent back-to-back severe injuries could be seen as payback for his comments towards McGruder. Davis hinted at the possibility of McGruder facing consequences like leaving the league after an altercation with Juan Toscano-Anderson post-Saturday’s game.
Thompson’s comments about McGruder during a broadcast were, “I don’t know, this dude might be out of the league soon, he might be mad about that. Over here trying to start something like he’s a good player or something. Like bro get outta here.”
Thompson’s injuries include a torn ACL during the 2019 NBA Finals and a torn Achilles in November 2020 while attempting to return to play.
