Retired NBA player Ray Allen decided to embrace his natural hair growth during the current lockdown, which has prevented him from visiting his barber due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, he humorously mentioned that not all of his hair seems to be on board with the plan.
On Tuesday, Ray Allen took to Instagram to share a photo of his current hairline and encouraged his fellow balding or bald brothers to let their hair grow out, addressing them with a friendly “y’all know who you are!”
He also tagged several NBA players, including LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, and Richard Hamilton, challenging them to participate in the humorous endeavor.
In a nod to Shaq, it’s worth noting that he had unknowingly kickstarted a similar challenge a few weeks prior after losing a bet to his former teammate, Dwyane Wade.
