Karan Higdon continues to stay and Michigan’s running game takes off

Michigan’s top rusher added to seven forgettable yards played in the wrong direction in the entire 2017. These seven plays are included in the total of 12 negative yards, however, without these plays; the offence section of Michigan might have appeared completely different during this fall.

To have a reviving rushing game to be played in Ann Arbor, the senior captain has come out as a top back. Karan Higdon has contended as the number 5 Wolverines to have entered as a committed player to the running game. Higdon, who has 6 consecutive 100-yard rushing performances, has had good performances score as a head coach in the four seasons of Harbaugh.

Higdon is also one of the big players to have made 100o yard mark during his college football’s last and final season. If he had made it till the 1000 yards in the year 2017, then he would have most likely not been suiting up for the Wolverines in this season. When Higdon was asked whether he considered the option of switching to the NFL after completing his junior college year successfully, he said that if he touched 1,000, then he will be leaving.

Some people might have been surprised by the proclamation Higdon made at the Big Ten media days. He had said that he expected to see himself win the 994 rushing yards as a signal that he had to work hard in his junior year. He had also made it clear about his intentions of crossing 1000 yards in the year 2018, which was a goal he could have reached displaying a good performance on Saturday.

The thing which one could see from the interview he had given during summer is an image of confidence. The ones who are close to Higdon describe him as a focused, goal oriented person who has always been sure about his goals since an early age.
