Major setback for Yura Min in Winter Olympics

The clasp of the red dress went off seconds after getting into the routine figure skating on Sunday. This Winter Olympics was her first Olympic for both her and Alexander Gamelin, her partner. Yura Min was observed readjusting the red dress frequently all through the dance.  

The skating pair, in spite of all, continued dancing and bagged 51.97 points.  The couple ended up being in the 9th position.   

While speaking to the paper “Detroit  Free  Press”, Yura Min stated that after dancing for five seconds in the skating routine, the hook of her dress was undone and she was like   “ Oh no!”. She was highly terrified that if it came off, the entire dress could simply pop off. She had to complete the dance being very uncomfortable and worried.

Yura stated that she tried her best to manage the dance with good grace and was aware of the fact that trying to stop the malfunction would result in negative impact on the points of both the partners.

She had an amicable side to project the funny side of the entire malfunction by posting tweets on her twitter.  She was found retweeting her stories and jokes about the entire routine.

Min tweeted right after the event to state that she had a great time in being a competitor n her home country.  She also promised to make better arrangements for her costume way head of the event.

Yura was born in the land of California and her parents belonged to South Korea.

Alexander Gamelin, her partner, is the naturalized citizen of South Korea for competing in Pyeongchang.  He was also found to be posting on Instagram regarding how excited Mina and he was to be taking part in the Winter Olympics games this year.
