Victoria Beckham And Her Daughter Forced to Leave Restaurant After Violent Altercation Over Lionel Messi Selfie

Last Friday, Victoria Beckham and her daughter Harper had to abruptly end their outing at a Miami restaurant owned by Bad Bunny due to a brawl that erupted over an alleged Lionel Messi selfie.

During the incident, Messi, who plays for David Beckham’s MLS team, Inter Miami, was out with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and the Beckhams. According to an unnamed diner, who was celebrating his daughter’s birthday and claims he was simply taking a photo, security mistook him for attempting to sneak a selfie with Messi and violently assaulted him, resulting in blood on his face.

The male victim shared with the Daily Mail, “They jumped at us; they kicked me out and punched me in the face. Just because my friend was trying to take a picture with Messi’s wife, not with Beckham or Messi, nothing. It was a family thing.”

However, a representative for the restaurant, Gekko, told Page Six that the patron involved was intoxicated and had become aggressive. The rep stated, “An intoxicated guest was overbearingly taking photos of fellow guests and was asked to stop. He continued taking photos and was calmly escorted off property.” The rep further explained that the guest later returned, attempted to rush the door aggressively, and was prevented from entering.

Victoria Beckham was seen escorting her 12-year-old daughter Harper into a black SUV after the incident. However, she has not responded to Page Six’s request for comment. Instead, she downplayed the altercation by posting pictures on Instagram and claiming to have had “so much fun.”
