While the Toronto Raptors had a strong performance, their stadium faced a real fire scare.

The Raptors’ match against the Indiana Pacers had to be stopped in the second quarter when smoke emerged at Scotiabank Arena due to a speaker catching fire.

The arena had to be cleared as a precaution, with the fire department called in to assess the situation. Fortunately, the Toronto fire chief confirmed that there was no danger to the public.

The game is currently on hold until further notice, with the hope of completing it safely. However, if play resumes, it may be conducted without any spectators present.

At the time of suspension, the Raptors held a significant lead over the Pacers with a score of 66-38. There is still uncertainty about whether the game will resume later tonight. Stay tuned for updates.
