Jason Whitlock Criticizes Jalen Rose, Maria Taylor, and Others Over Rachel Nichols Controversy

As expected, Jason Whitlock has strong opinions about several individuals involved in the Rachel Nichols situation at his former workplace.

ESPN removed Rachel Nichols from her role as the NBA Finals sideline reporter after an audio recording surfaced of Nichols making derogatory comments about her colleague Maria Taylor.

Whitlock, who was let go by ESPN in the past, didn’t hold back in his criticism, specifically mentioning individuals by name.

“I find it hard to understand the sensitivity displayed by Taylor. As a 34-year-old former D-1 athlete, I find it astonishing that her self-worth is so dependent on the opinions of white coworkers that their private remarks could deeply affect her to the extent that she seeks intervention from the company’s HR.”

“This reflects poorly on the Black community… and I emphasize the Black community because Kendrick Perkins, Richard Jefferson, Jalen Rose, and a number of other Black ESPN colleagues have publicly supported Taylor’s reportedly hurt feelings.”

“This is my issue with modern liberals, regardless of race.”

“Black liberals seem to become vulnerable and sensitive at the mere idea of a White person not showering them with praise and approval.”
