Aaron Rodgers Donating $1 Million in Recovery Aid to California

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, is contributing $1 million in recovery assistance to California to aid those affected by the devastating “Camp Fire” in his hometown of Chico.

The fire has tragically claimed the lives of 81 individuals, with many others still unaccounted for. Rodgers took to Twitter to express his concern and efforts, stating, “I personally reached out to my friends and the mayor of Chico to find out how to be of the most help.” He also urged his followers to retweet with a specific hashtag. For each retweet, State Farm will donate $1, with the goal of reaching up to $1 million by Sunday.

In addition to Rodgers’ contribution, the Green Bay Packers organization has pledged an additional $250,000 towards the relief efforts.
