Jake Paul secured his third professional boxing victory on Saturday by defeating MMA fighter Ben Askren with a knockout.

The 24-year-old Paul maintained a perfect 3-0 record in his boxing career and has garnered attention from various individuals interested in facing him.

Reflecting on his win, Paul expressed his dedication, stating, “It’s been four months. I’ve been in training camp every day. I deserved that s—. This is the craziest moment of my life. I told y’all I was going to do it in the first round. I told y’all I’m a real fighter. I don’t know how many times I’ve got to prove myself this is for real.”

Kendall Gill, who spent 15 seasons playing in the NBA but was not known for physical altercations during his basketball career, is among those eager to challenge Paul next. After his basketball career, Gill transitioned to boxing and maintained an unbeaten 4-0 record.

It remains to be seen if Paul will respond to Gill this time as Gill previously attempted to get Paul’s attention in December.

Gill was selected as the fifth overall pick in the 1990 NBA draft by the Hornets. Over his 15-year career, he played for the Hornets, SuperSonics, Nets, Heat, Timberwolves, Bulls, and Bucks, averaging 13.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.0 assists across 966 games.
