Former Major League Baseball star Jim Edmonds has recently proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Kortnie O’Connor, sharing the exciting news on Instagram.
O’Connor joyfully announced the engagement on Instagram, stating, “Dear Diary, A month ago, Jimmy asked me to marry him in the most intimate and personal way. I said yes! Love, Kortnie,” alongside a photo flaunting her new ring.

While Edmonds has not publicly announced the engagement, he previously expressed his admiration for O’Connor in a heartfelt message in January. Describing her impact on his life, he wrote, “Every now and then, someone will show up in your life And make you smile. Make you laugh, and change the way you think.” He further shared his gratitude for her presence and the love she brings into his life.
O’Connor and Edmonds began their relationship in January 2020 after originally meeting during a threesome involving Edmonds’ ex-wife, Meghan King Edmonds, who starred in “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
This will mark Edmonds’ fourth marriage, with his divorce from Meghan being finalized in May of this year.
Reflecting on the divorce, Meghan stated, “I feel the same as I did before it was finalized. I think it’s like, an energetic closure, which is important, but I mean, I’ve been learning how to be independent ever since we separated, ever since the divorce was filed, and so that’s almost, I guess, a year and a half now.”
