Highlights from the Biggest NFL Playoff Games and More

The weekend was packed with thrilling doubleheaders of NFL playoff matchups, perfect for fans looking to kick back and enjoy some football action.

On Saturday, the Minnesota Vikings (11-6) faced off against the San Francisco 49ers (13-3), followed by the Tennessee Titans (10-7) taking on the Baltimore Ravens (14-2). The games were televised on NBC at 4:35 p.m. and CBS at 8:15 p.m. respectively. The Ravens, led by the dynamic quarterback Lamar Jackson, topped the NFL in scoring this season. Meanwhile, the Vikings and 49ers have a history in the playoffs, with the 49ers emerging victorious in four out of five matchups.

Sunday’s schedule featured the Houston Texans (11-6) competing against the Kansas City Chiefs (12-4), and the Seattle Seahawks (12-5) playing the Green Bay Packers (13-3). The games were broadcast on CBS at 3:05 p.m. and Fox at 3:40 p.m. The Texans managed to defeat the Chiefs earlier in the season with a 31-24 victory at Arrowhead Stadium. In a memorable NFC Championship Game in 2014, the Seahawks staged an incredible comeback against the Packers to secure a spot in the Super Bowl.

The winners from the weekend’s games will progress to the NFC and AFC conference championship games scheduled for January 19. Looking ahead, Super Bowl LIV will take place on February 2 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

For college basketball enthusiasts, the matchup between No. 4 Baylor and No. 3 Kansas on Saturday at 1 p.m. on CBS was a highlight. Kansas has been dominant in their recent matchups against Baylor, winning nine out of their last ten encounters.

If golf is more your speed, the PGA Tour’s Sony Open in Honolulu concluded on Sunday with coverage airing on Golf Channel from 6-10 p.m.
