Highlights of the Biggest NFL Playoff Games and More

Two exciting doubleheaders filled with NFL playoff action made for an exciting weekend. It was a perfect time to kick back and enjoy the games.

On Saturday, we saw the Minnesota Vikings (11-6) face off against the San Francisco 49ers (13-3), followed by the Tennessee Titans (10-7) taking on the Baltimore Ravens (14-2). The first game aired at 4:35 p.m. on NBC, with the second game following at 8:15 p.m. on CBS. The Ravens, led by the talented quarterback Lamar Jackson, topped the NFL in scoring. The Vikings and the 49ers have a history in the playoffs, with the 49ers coming out on top in most of their encounters.

Sunday’s lineup included the Houston Texans (11-6) challenging the Kansas City Chiefs (12-4) and the Seattle Seahawks (12-5) going head-to-head with the Green Bay Packers (13-3). The action started at 3:05 p.m. on CBS, with the second game kicking off at 3:40 p.m. on Fox. In a previous faceoff in Week 6, the Texans secured a victory against the Chiefs. The Seahawks and the Packers clashed in the 2014 NFC Championship Game, where the Seahawks made an incredible comeback to secure a win and advance to the Super Bowl.

The victors of these matchups will progress to the NFC and AFC conference championship games on Jan. 19. Super Bowl LIV is set for Feb. 2 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

For those who prefer college basketball, a must-watch game was the No. 4 Baylor versus No. 3 Kansas showdown on Saturday at 1 p.m. on CBS. Kansas has been dominant in their recent matchups against Baylor.

If golf is more your speed, the PGA Tour’s Sony Open in Honolulu came to a close on Sunday with coverage on the Golf Channel from 6-10 p.m.
