The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly agreed to trade the 2012 Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos in exchange for a fourth round pick.
The 34-year-old quarterback made the playoffs in six of his first seven seasons in the NFL, but hasn’t played a postseason game since 2014.
Flacco will join a Broncos team that struggled on offense with a 6-10 record last season, despite signing QB Case Keenum to a contract last year. Flacco played just nine games in 2018 finishing the year with 12 TDs and 6 INTs, but he has some familiarity with Vic Fangio, the Broncos new Head Coach who spent a season with the Ravens.
In the upcoming draft, Denver has the 10th pick and could still get a QB in the first round for long-term solution at the position.
The deal cannot be made official until Wednesday, March 13 when the new NFL year officially begins.
