Top coaches from around the country have made their way to New Orleans, Louisiana to witness the exceptional talent of Arch Manning under the bright lights of a Friday night game. Besides football, Manning also shows prowess in basketball.
Nick Saban, head coach of Alabama, along with offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien and defensive coordinator Pete Golding, were seen at the basketball game where Manning, a five-star quarterback, helped Isidore Newman secure a victory against De La Salle. Manning, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 215 pounds, has been averaging 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game for his team which boasts a 16-5 record, as reported by MaxPreps.
The visit by the Crimson Tide coaching staff, including Nick Saban, is just one of many as more top coaches continue to show interest in Manning’s basketball skills. Kirby Smart and several members of the UGA staff also recently visited Manning following their national championship win.
Not only is Manning the grandson of Archie Manning, but he is also the nephew of football legends Peyton and Eli Manning.
These esteemed coaches are pulling out all the stops to try and secure a commitment from the talented Manning for their respective schools.
