The Oklahoma quarterback, Kyler Murray, finds himself faced with numerous decisions as he approaches the end of his college football season. While currently focused on the upcoming game against Alabama, Murray had previously signed a contract with the MLB’s Oakland Athletics.

Following his contract signing, Murray went on to win the prestigious Heisman Trophy, instantly propelling him to a top prospect for the 2019 NFL Draft. Despite the speculations surrounding his potential NFL career, Murray maintains that he has yet to make any concrete decisions regarding his future and remains committed to his present focus on the Crimson Tide game.

Addressing the ongoing discussions, Murray stated, “Nothing has changed.” He emphasized his dedication to focusing on his upcoming match and reiterated that he had not dedicated any energy towards worrying about his future. Murray expressed his intent to let his performance on the field speak for itself. Acknowledging the presence of various opportunities, he noted that having options is not a negative thing.

Amidst the swirling discussions, Murray’s agent, Scott Boras, suggested that his client would not pursue an NFL career. Despite this stance, Murray himself believes in his capabilities as a quarterback in the NFL. This belief persists even with a contractual clause that allows him the opportunity to pursue a career in the NFL.
