The Houston Texans have terminated Head Coach Bill O’Brien with immediate effect, as reported by John McClain.
Adam Schefter has indicated that Romeo Crennel is poised to step in as the interim head coach of the team.
Texans owner Cal McNair shared, “Bill handled the situation professionally. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity and regret for not achieving desired results,” according to Mark Berman.
The Texans have struggled with a winless 0-4 start to the season following O’Brien’s trade of DeAndre Hopkins, a star wide receiver.
