Aaron Rodgers reiterated his disdain for “cancel culture.”
During his regular appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday, the Packers quarterback sported a black sweatshirt featuring the words “Cancel Culture” crossed out on the front.
In November, he first mentioned cancel culture in response to criticism for stating he is “immunized” against COVID-19.
“I see that I’m a target of the woke mob right now, so before I get fully cancelled, I want to clarify some of the falsehoods circulating about me at this time,” Rodgers said on Nov. 5.
The revelation in November that he was not vaccinated after testing positive for COVID-19, despite claiming to be ‘immunized’ against the virus, raised eyebrows. Instead of getting the vaccine, Rodgers chose a different treatment from his personal doctor. The NFL and NFLPA deemed the treatment insufficient for vaccination status, resulting in a league fine for flouting COVID-19 protocols.
“I’m still within the 90-day period, so as far as I know, I am not required to test until that time frame is up,” he mentioned, referring to the 90-day grace period from testing following his positive test. Rodgers would not undergo another COVID-19 test until after the NFC Championship game if the Packers advance.

In 13 games this season, Rodgers has amassed 3,487 yards, 30 touchdowns, and just four interceptions. These impressive stats put him in contention for another MVP honor, but there may be concerns about his vaccine status influencing voter decisions.
