In a surprising move, Cowboys rookie defensive tackle Osa Odghizuwa, a third-round draft pick in April, decided to stir the pot when asked about Brady’s weaknesses as a player.
Rather than staying silent, he took the opportunity to provide some bulletin board material for the opposing team.
“He’s not very mobile,” Odighizuwa commented, as reported by Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “I mean, you know, he’s been playing for 21 years. The dude is a little older, not too mobile. I’d say that’s probably what it is.”
Odighizuwa attempted to balance his remarks by acknowledging Brady as the “GOAT” and minimizing the impact of his comments on Brady’s motivation.
