Ayesha Curry had a memorable but not so great Valentine’s Day.
Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors superstar, had to rush his wife to the doctor on V-day night after she accidentally cut her hand while attempting to open a champagne bottle.
Ayesha clarified, “It’s important to know that I was not sabering a bottle of champagne when this happened to me. I was opening it in the usual way.”
Sabering involves opening a champagne bottle by sliding a sword or blade across the bottle to release the cork.
Ayesha later shared an update on Instagram, revealing that she and Steph were watching movies after she had received stitches for her hand at the hospital.
