Ryan Shazier is not the only former player making retirement announcements today.
On Wednesday, Aqib Talib, a former all-pro cornerback and Super Bowl champion, took to Twitter to share his retirement news.
Although the Patriots offered Talib a specialized role for his return, the seasoned player chose to retire from the game.
Throughout his 12-year NFL journey playing for the Buccaneers, Patriots, Broncos, and Rams, Talib made significant contributions, including 462 tackles, one sack, five forced fumbles, three recoveries, 35 interceptions, with 10 resulting in touchdowns, and 124 pass defenses.
