The Kansas City Chiefs made headlines on Monday with the announcement of a groundbreaking contract extension. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is now locked in with the Chiefs until the year 2031, thanks to a 10-year deal.
During the 2019 season, Mahomes showcased his skills in 14 games, completing nearly 66% of his passes for 4,031 yards and throwing 26 touchdowns with just five interceptions. He also added 218 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns to his impressive stat line.
