If you’re a viewer of ESPN over the last 30 years, you’ve probably seen Doris Burke involved in calling basketball games or interviewing some of the sport’s biggest stars.
As the first full-time female NBA analyst at ESPN, Burke was on duty for the Lakers-Pelicans game, a matchup eagerly anticipated by fans eager to witness LeBron James and Zion Williamson face off.
Following a successful basket by Lakers player Kyle Kuzma, Burke caused a stir on social media after some Twitter users believed she said “nice f**king finger roll” during the live broadcast.
Upon closer scrutiny and adjusting the volume, it was clarified that she actually said, “That was a nice LOOKING finger roll.”
