50 Cent has found himself in the middle of controversy yet again. The rapper, known for his provocative statements, recently joined the conversation around Dwyane Wade’s 12-year-old child, Zaya, who recently shared her identity as female.
In a post on social media, 50 Cent shared a photo of R. Kelly sitting next to the former basketball star at a fashion show, with speech bubbles added to the image.
The caption over Kelly’s bubble reads, “Heard you had a daughter now.”
Wade’s response in the bubble is, “U touch her I’ll kill ya.”
R. Kelly is currently facing legal troubles related to numerous allegations of sexual misconduct involving underage girls, in addition to charges of racketeering, sex-trafficking, and bribery.
The post sparked criticism from some of 50 Cent’s followers who found the joke distasteful and insensitive.
One commenter expressed their disapproval, stating, “Uhm besides the fact that Zaya was brave enough to identify herself, Dwayne also has a little baby girl! So this is wrong on all levels.”
This incident comes on the heels of Boosie and Young Thug facing backlash for their controversial opinions on Zaya.
Young Thug questioned Zaya’s choices while deliberately using the wrong gender pronouns.
In a tweet, Young Thug stated, “All I wanna say to dwade son is ‘GOD DONT MAKE MISTAKES,’ but hey live your true self.”
Meanwhile, Boosie Badazz shared his thoughts in a video, the content of which can be viewed in the link provided.
