The College Gameday field goal challenge continues to yield significant rewards for students who participate. The most recent highlight occurred on Saturday when a student from Oregon successfully completed a 33-yard kick, with the stakes raised as Nick Saban took on the role of placeholder.
Kyle Kramer, a junior majoring in Social Sciences, found himself in the limelight. Dressed in an Oregon uniform and cap, Kyle stood tall at 6 feet 4 inches, even mentioning his high school athletic achievements prior to his attempt.
To top it off, Kyle arrived with a Gameday poster proclaiming, “Hey Pat, kicking is as easy as picking the Ducks to win.” Now that’s what you call confidence!

Kyle missed his first shot, but with the prize money escalating from $80,000 to $100,000 on his second and final attempt, he showed remarkable composure as he nailed the crucial kick. This achievement was even more special, as he shared the field with another celebrity guest, Rob McElhenney.
You might be wondering why Saban was holding the ball. This was due to Kirk Herbstreit leaving early to cover the Red River Rivalry in Oklahoma. Usually, Herbstreit takes a knee to serve as the holder.
