Shaq is known for his humor but also acknowledges his flaws.

While various celebrities and athletes have shared their opinions on the Nia Long and Ime Udoka cheating controversy, NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal has chosen not to weigh in.

On a recent episode of his podcast, The Big Podcast With Shaq, Shaquille O’Neal stated that he wouldn’t criticize the situation harshly because he himself had been unfaithful in the past.
“I am going to step down from this conversation. I was a serial cheater. It would be crazy and blasphemous for me to get up here and say, ‘Boom, boom, bam.’ I can’t do that. I know these guys personally. I know they’re going through a lot because I went through a lot,” Shaq shared.

He went on to express his empathy for those involved in the scandal and admitted his own struggles with infidelity, acknowledging the negative impact it had on his family.

Shaq has previously been candid about the reasons for his divorce, attributing it to his own behavior. He admitted that he led a “double life” that eventually led to the breakdown of his marriage.

Shaquille O’Neal was married to Shaunie Henderson from 2002 to 2011, and has since reflected on his past mistakes and the consequences of his actions.
