Allison Williams, known for her sideline reporting in college football, is making a comeback in the field, but this time with Fox Sports.
Williams bid farewell to ESPN in the fall of 2021, citing her decision to get vaccinated as the reason for her departure. ESPN had imposed a vaccination requirement for all salaried and non-union hourly staff.
Expressing her excitement, Williams shared with OutKick, “I am extremely happy and thankful to be part of FOX Sports’ College Football coverage this season. Stepping away from the sport I love last year has reignited my passion for this job.”
She added, “Returning to the sidelines with FOX and reuniting with my former colleagues Jason Benetti and Brock Huard feels like the perfect way to come back. I am grateful to FOX’s leadership team, particularly Brad Zager and Julie Boyd, for this opportunity.”
Williams had a long-standing career at ESPN since 2011, where she made a name for herself as a prominent sideline reporter for college football and basketball games.
According to OutKick reports, she will be covering select games for FOX Sports in the upcoming season.
