Women Soccer Star Alex Morgan Pays Tribute To Steph Curry During Her Goal Celebration

The United States Women’s soccer team faced Canada at the CONCACAF Championship Finals in Monterrey, Mexico recently.

The American team secured a 1-0 victory when Alex Morgan scored a penalty shot in the 78th minute, earning her the golden ball trophy as the tournament MVP.

After the match, Morgan shared a photo of her award on Instagram.

She paid homage to Steph Curry by incorporating the “Night Night” celebration, which Curry popularized during the NBA Championship Series Game 6 where his Warriors defeated the Celtics.

The victory ensured the U.S. women’s soccer team’s spot in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and a place in the inaugural Women’s Gold Cup of 2024.

Morgan has achieved 118 goals in 196 matches with the U.S. Women’s National team, winning three CONCACAF Women’s Championships, two Women’s World Cup titles, and an Olympic Gold Medal.
