Stephon Gilmore is set to face the New England Patriots once again, this time as a member of the Indianapolis Colts.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Gilmore has agreed to a two-year contract with the Colts valued at $23 million, with $14 million guaranteed.
This move marks Gilmore’s third team in just two seasons, following a trade from the Patriots to the Carolina Panthers in October 2021. He had a delayed start with the Panthers due to a quad injury, playing in only eight games for the team.
Gilmore is scheduled to return to New England when the Colts play the Patriots in 2022.
During his time with the Panthers in 2021, Gilmore appeared in eight games, registering 16 tackles, two interceptions, and two pass deflections.
