Mike Tyson’s unique ear-shaped weed gummies will not be available for purchase in Colorado due to the state’s regulations.
Tyson had plans to introduce these gummies in the shape of ears, but Colorado has decided to prohibit them because of their form.
According to a report by Westword:
“A state law from 2016 clearly states that marijuana-infused edibles cannot resemble humans, animals, fruits, or any object that might attract children. The Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division emphasized that Holyfield’s bitten ear shape is considered appealing in a manner that is not in line with the regulations. The vegan ear-shaped edibles are explicitly covered under the law that prohibits shapes imitating human body parts, as confirmed by Shannon Gray, the communications director of the MED.”
Due to this regulation, Mike Tyson’s cannabis gummies will be manufactured in the shape of a “T” in Colorado, as per the latest information from Tyson 2.0. The former boxer, now 55, has been involved in the cannabis industry since 2016 with his brand Tyson Holistic.
Moreover, Tyson is currently working on developing a massive 418-acre themed resort centered around cannabis. His vision for the resort includes hosting a music festival that can compete with events like Coachella and constructing the world’s longest lazy river.
In 2020, Tyson made a striking return to the boxing ring, engaging in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr., showcasing their skills over eight rounds of two minutes each. The bout was purely for exhibition purposes, and no official winner was declared after the fight.
