Jorge Masvidal’s ongoing feud with Colby Covington escalated recently, and their altercation at UFC 272 didn’t put an end to their rivalry.
A spontaneous rematch between Masvidal and Covington occurred at Papi Steak in Miami, where Masvidal reportedly landed two punches on Covington, resulting in the fracture of a tooth for the UFC’s top welterweight contender. According to a report by TMZ, the incident was captured on video outside the restaurant, showing Masvidal being restrained from approaching Covington. Subsequently, Covington was seen with police officers on the street, trying to comprehend the situation:

Following the incident, the Miami native was arrested on two felony charges—aggravated battery with a mask and criminal mischief. Video footage recorded Masvidal being led into the police station in handcuffs on Thursday.
Masvidal pleaded not guilty to both charges and was later released on a $15,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for April 21.
