Conor McGregor has found himself in another legal situation, this time due to his behavior behind the wheel.
The former UFC champion was recently arrested in Ireland for dangerous driving. Reports indicate that McGregor was driving his Bentley Continental GT on a Dublin highway when he was stopped by police. He was taken into custody and later released facing charges related to dangerous driving, with his Bentley being temporarily confiscated.
Video footage has surfaced showing the moments leading up to McGregor’s arrest, filmed by a fan driving alongside him.
McGregor is scheduled to appear in court next month. The offense of dangerous driving in Ireland carries a possible maximum penalty of a six-month prison term and a fine of $5,500.
Interestingly, McGregor is not the only UFC fighter recently facing legal issues. Just a day earlier, Jorge Masvidal was arrested for assaulting his rival, Colby Covington, outside a restaurant by punching him in the face.
