It was anticipated that Brady would retire soon based on ESPN reports over the weekend. Even though the announcement was delayed, it was believed that Brady was waiting to avoid overshadowing the NFL playoffs and to receive a $15-million signing bonus from his contract.

Brady concludes his 22-season career as the greatest of all time in the NFL. He leaves behind a legacy of seven Super Bowl championships, five Super Bowl MVPs, three regular season MVPs, and 15 Pro Bowl appearances. He led the league in passing yards four times, passing touchdowns five times, and his 50 touchdown passes from 2007 are still tied for the second-highest in NFL history.

The NFL faces a challenge in filling the void left by the departure of the greatest quarterback. However, with emerging talents like Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Justin Herbert, the league’s future is promising.

Farewell to Tom Brady, a legend of the game who will be dearly missed.
