Kyle Kuzma’s recent tweet didn’t sit well with many fans.

The Washington Wizards player, who previously supported Bernie Sanders on taxing Amazon, shared a CNN article stating that Elon Musk would owe a record $11 billion in taxes and sarcastically commented on the notion that “the rich don’t pay taxes.”

Kuzma seemed to miss the point that the issue is about the wealthy not paying their fair share of taxes.

NBA enthusiasts took issue with his tweet, believing he displayed a lack of understanding about tax laws.

The 26-year-old has been performing well for the Washington Wizards this season after being traded from the Lakers, with averages of 13.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.

In his latest game against the Cavaliers, Kuzma scored an impressive 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
