The season has not proved to be good for Los Angeles Lakers. After some continuous defeats, it was expected that, on Wednesday, the team might win a match, but this time also Lakers has faced another defeat. The team has lost their eight-straight game. Well, this defeat has lead Kyle Kuzma to say something that was embarrassing for the team. He said flat-out gave up when Loss Angeles Lakers got defeated by Oklahoma City by 133-96 scores.
Kuzma stated that the team had given up after getting basket after basket. The team had unable to take control of them. When they tried to took the game individually, they failed to do so. After getting defeated by around 40, it was quite embarrassing to be there in the league.
On the other side, the team is now going through some other problems. Lonzo Ball is suffering from a shoulder injury, Brandon Ingram from quads injury and Brook Lopez from an ankle injury. Due to some legal restriction, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope now can’t play outside the state of California.
It may be noted that, in the game played on 23rd December 2017, Lakers also had lost the match by 95-92 to Portland. On that match, Luke Walton, coach of Los Angeles Lakers has seen players sulking on the bench which show their displeasure. All these have now proved that the players are really in the frustrated mood.
It may be noted that a few days back, the team held a team meeting where every player had informed about their issues. That day it came to know that, the team has no proper playing time and direction building for new summer training program.
Walton said that the team, fans, and organization deserve more. The team must have to overcome all the issues. He will check all the recorded tape to find out the exact point where the team is lacking behind.
Well, as per the latest report, Lonzo Ball will come to practice on Thursday, and maybe he can now play in the next match which will happen in Friday against Charlotte.
