Thursday night’s game ended with the Buccaneers maintaining their lead in the NFC South by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 28-22 in a touchdown-filled showdown led by Tom Brady.

The Buccaneers got off to a strong start, as Brady connected with O.J. Howard for a touchdown early in the game. The Eagles quickly responded with a touchdown of their own when Zach Ertz caught a pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts. The first quarter ended with Antonio Brown catching another touchdown pass from Brady, giving the Buccaneers a 14-7 lead.

Tampa Bay continued to dominate, adding two more touchdowns with impressive plays by Leonard Fournette. The first quarter also saw cornerback Richard Sherman leaving the game due to a hamstring injury. Despite this setback, the Buccaneers maintained a comfortable 28-7 lead heading into the final quarter. However, the Eagles showed resilience, scoring another touchdown before the end of the third quarter and adding one more in the final quarter.

The Eagles have now lost their last three home games and faced criticism from some fans who booed them during halftime.
