The situation with the upcoming bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul has taken a new twist as the boxing legend has filed a $122.6 million lawsuit against an entertainment company for not following through on plans to host the fight in Dubai.

A lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports this week reveals that Mayweather Promotions is accusing PAC Entertainment Worldwide of failing to deliver on their promise to organize the fight in Dubai, despite claiming to have the necessary contacts and financial capability for such an event.

The lawsuit states that PAC Entertainment Worldwide provided financial estimates suggesting that the fight could generate specific amounts for both fighters, with promoters potentially earning over $100 million in profits after covering all expenses.

Mayweather Promotions alleged that they had entered into a deal with PAC Entertainment Worldwide for a guaranteed sum of $110 million, but the initial payment of $30 million, due in March, was never received.

As a result, Mayweather’s team backed out of the deal and managed to secure an arrangement with Fanmio Boxing for the exhibition match scheduled for June 6 at the Hardrock Stadium in Miami.

The match will be broadcast on Showtime pay-per-view.
