In a separate incident from 2022, a man filed a lawsuit against Mayweather following an altercation in which one of the boxer’s bodyguards reportedly struck him and attempted to seize his phone as he tried to film the athlete at an LA restaurant, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The incident transpired while Mayweather was being interviewed at the ZEAM Studio, as reported by the Post.
A confrontation erupted between studio staff and Mayweather’s security personnel. Allegedly, during the escalation, his bodyguards barged into the studio, commandeering one of the cameras and subsequently destroying it.
