Jake Paul has confirmed his upcoming fight with former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley. The match is set to take place in August after both parties finalized the deal.

Paul, who recently scored a first-round knockout victory against Ben Askren, is set to take on Woodley, who lost his title to Kamaru Usman in 2019 and has faced consecutive defeats against Gilberts Burns, Colby Covington, and Vicente Luque.

With a flawless record of 3-0, Paul has defeated opponents from various backgrounds, including a former UFC fighter, a former NBA player, and a YouTuber.

Woodley, whose UFC contract has expired, will be free to compete against Paul. Woodley shared his insights on the strategy behind Paul’s choice to fight Askren due to his perceived lack of expertise in boxing.

The upcoming bout is expected to mark the beginning of Paul’s new agreement with Showtime Boxing, under a multi-fight deal that was recently finalized.
