# Philadelphia Eagles Interested in Moving Up in Draft to Secure Top 10 Players
Recently, the Philadelphia Eagles made a significant trade with the Miami Dolphins involving their picks in the upcoming NFL draft. The Eagles exchanged their No. 6 pick and a 2021 fifth-round pick for the Dolphins’ No. 12 pick, a fourth-round pick, and a 2022 first-round pick.
Now, it seems that the Eagles are looking to make another move up the draft order.
Reported by ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, the Eagles have been reaching out to other teams to explore the possibility of moving into the top 10 picks. Their aim is to leapfrog the rival Dallas Cowboys and secure a top cornerback before the Cowboys have a chance to do so.
Both the Eagles and Cowboys struggled defensively in the previous season and are in dire need of improvement at the cornerback position.
According to draft predictions, the top defensive backs expected to be selected early are Patrick Surtain II from Alabama and Jaycee Horn from South Carolina.
The NFL draft is set to begin tonight at 8 p.m. ET.
