The Houston Rockets have made it clear to all interested teams that they are seeking a substantial return in assets if they are to part ways with James Harden.
On Monday, Bleacher Report’s Yaron Weitzman revealed that the Rockets are demanding that the Philadelphia 76ers include Ben Simmons and three first-round draft picks in exchange for acquiring James Harden.
According to The New York Times’ Marc Stein, the 76ers are currently the frontrunners for any potential deal involving Harden.
James Harden, 31, showcased an impressive performance last season, averaging 34.3 points, 7.5 assists, and 6.6 rebounds per game. He has maintained his position as the league’s leading scorer for the past three seasons.
