# Giannis Antetokounmpo Commits to $228M Supermax Deal with Milwaukee Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo has made his decision.
Reports surfaced on Tuesday that the basketball star from the Milwaukee Bucks would be finalizing his supermax contract with his current team, putting an end to any hopes other teams had of luring him in free agency.
Despite falling short in the playoffs, the Bucks have had an impressive 116-39 record over the last two regular seasons.
In the previous season, the 28-year-old player averaged 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game, and in addition to winning his second MVP title, he also claimed the Defensive Player of the Year award.
